Charles comes from a military family — the second oldest of seven, with three brothers and three sisters. He loves Star Wars and science fiction movies and shows, music from the 80s and 90s (and plenty from the 50s through the 2000s), cooking and baking, video games, and anime. He works in food service in the kitchen.

A few tips before you write
- Open with your first name and why you're reaching out.
- Share something ordinary — a book, your week, a word of encouragement or prayer.
- Avoid asking about their case; let Charles lead if they choose to.
- Add your own return address — a P.O. box is perfectly fine.
- Keep it to plain paper and pen. No stickers, glitter, cash, or laminated items.
Please confirm the address on the facility's official inmate locator before mailing — people are sometimes transferred.
